Secondo quanto riportato da Bleeding Cool, la Marvel avrebbe recentemente presentato undici domande di nuovi marchi collegati ai Guardiani della Galassia che coprirebbe un merchanidse molto vasto, dai gioielli alle bevande ai mobili ai cosmetici. Le applicazioni comprendono anche i giochi per computer, tessuti, cibo, articoli per la carta, servizi di intrattenimento e di internet, negozi e servizi, ma la lista (come potrete leggere in calce a questo articolo, è molto più vasta ed articolata.
La notizia, non ancora ufficialmente confermata, sarebbe un ulteriore indicazione che i Marvel Studios potrebbero optare per una pellicola sui Guardiani della Galassia. Ricordiamo infatti che una pellicola, il cui titolo non è stato ancora rivelato, è programmata per il 2014, subito dopo il sequel di Captain America: The First Avenger.
Ma attenzione, questa è solo una supposizione, infatti, non è detto che questa mossa implichi necessariamente la preparazione del film di Guardians of the Galaxy, lo studio potrebbe al momento preparare il merchandiser che accompagnerà il lancio della nuova serie a fumetti sui protettori della Galassia, scritta da Brian Michael Bendis, che verrà pubblicata dopo la conclusione di Avengers Vs. X-Men, inoltre si tratta di una richiesta da parte della Marvel Comics, e non dei Marvel Studios. Solitamente quando c’è da preparare un film, vi è anche una registrazione dei domini internet con il nome della pellicola e alcune varianti, ma questo non è il nostro caso.
